Bella didn’t like their interest in her as much as the next person. It was…creepy and uncomfortable. They look at her with such an expression that it sends chills down her spine— especially Aro. To hear this woman say ‘my Aro’ let Bella know that they must be together.
It didn’t make her feel any better.
No words were uttered as she silently took a few hesitant steps closer. Bella did not want to induce any anger, or say something that could set her off. Anyone from the Volturi had reason to be feared.
She couldn’t understand it. She couldn’t understand what Aro saw in this human. There was obviously some sort of potential there, although what exactly it was pertained to she couldn’t place. Her eyes watch Bella intensely, red as fresh blood.
Then she gives an indignant sniff, turning her nose up.
She isn’t special. Or even beautiful.
“By the way Aro spoke of you, I had been expecting something extraordinary. I see I had nothing to worry about. You’re quite plain. I do not know what he finds so interesting about you.”
i feel like sulpicia was the blonde, athenodora was a redhead, and didyme was a brunette like aro and basically if you started a conversation with ‘so there was a blonde, a brunette, and a redhead’ they would probably devour you.
Isabella Swan. She has been the talk of the Volturi for some time now, and frankly she grows tired of it.
“—-You. You must be the one my Aro has spoken so fondly of.” There is something not quite sincere in her words. Envy doesn’t suit Sulpicia. “Come. Come closer,” she beckons, “Let me get a look at you.”

It would seem the fair maiden had finally been let out of her tower – for the moment, at least. Sulpicia roams the halls of the Palazzo, pail, powdery hands trailing along the stone walls, committing them to memory as though she hadn’t already thousands of times before.
“Ah—” she pauses, a demure smile gracing porcelain features when she comes upon Volterra’s latest guests. “Rosalie and Emmett, is it not? What brings you to our humble abode?"
